Law-enforcement & legal requests

Verified law-enforcement and government agencies should contact the registrar at law-enforcement@oneworlddomains.com. This channel is monitored during business hours in England and Wales, with an expedited path for genuine emergencies (see below).

• the requesting agency, the officer's name, and official contact details;
• the legal basis for the request (statute, case reference, or court order);
• the specific domain(s) concerned;
• exactly what you are asking for (records, a lock, or a suspension);
• any applicable deadline.

As the sponsoring registrar we hold registration data for the domains we manage: the registrant's contact details (including those hidden behind the WHOIS privacy service), the domain's status and history, and the delegated nameservers. We do not host websites or email and therefore do not hold website content, traffic logs, or message contents; those sit with the registrant's hosting and mail providers. Some data (for example the authoritative zone) is held by the registry, not us.

We review each request for validity and scope and respond to lawful, properly scoped requests under the law of England and Wales. We may decline or seek clarification of requests that are overbroad, unclear, or lack a proper legal basis. Unless we are legally prohibited from doing so, we may notify the affected registrant.

Where there is an imminent risk of death or serious harm, mark your email URGENT - EMERGENCY DISCLOSURE and state the nature of the emergency. We will prioritise it and respond as quickly as we reasonably can.
